Inspiration from my next work

It seems pretty early this time of year to wake up and see the ground covered with a layer of snow. Do you think this will last for long, though?. I’m not sure, but I still recall those many early winters of the past when it remained cold for several months until late April.

Today, I am planning on working on painting a city scene in Rome.

Last August, I walked along the Tiber River in the vicinity of the bridge leading to the Castle of the Saint Angel. It was getting dark, but I could still see some shivers of light, a reflection of the Sun beneath the horizon. Most city lights were on, as well as many others shining through the windows of the buildings near by. They all cast interesting reflections on the River, which I want to capture.

Here is a nice snapshot that inspires my painting activity.
